Schultz Development has been developing properties in Baltimore City for over six years. The primary target areas for redevelopment have been the following neighborhoods: Fells Point, Patterson Park, Butchers Hill, and Canton.

The area north of these neighborhoods is anchored by Johns Hopkins Hospital, arguably the best medical facility in the world, and one of the largest employers in Baltimore City. Baltimore City officials have partnered with Johns Hopkins Hospital and East Baltimore Development to revedelop 80 acres of property near Johns Hopkins Hospital. The project will cost approximately $500 million dollars and add an estimated 8,000 new jobs to the area.

This initiative, has ignited significant development and investment in the area and contributed to Forbes magazine recently ranking the 21231 zip code (Butchers Hill & Fells Point) ninth in the country in it's list of "Greatest Property Appreciation Since 2003". The area's proximity to Washington D.C. and expanding job opportunities insure long-term demand for area properties and significant future appreciation of property values.
